HUAWEI PLC-IoT Ecological Alliance Is Established, Winning the New Intelligent IoT Era with Cooperative Partners
HUAWEI 2019-12-19 09:46On Dec.19, HUAWEI PLC-IoT Ecological Alliance launched by HUAWEI is established in Dongguan( a city in Guangdong province). 43 industry partners from many industries like electricity, traffic, finance and fire control witness the establishment of the alliance at the conference.
PLC-IoT（Power Line Carrier over Internet of Things）is a IoT technology of midband PLC power line carrier communication. HUAWE applies PLC technology into IoT scenarios creatively and deeply integrates with PLC-IoT technology through IPv6, multimode communication and edge computing capabilities. This realizes reliable, real-time and long-distance data transmission in high speed on power line medium. In order to promote the technology being applied in all kinds of IoT scenarios, from 2017 HUAWEI is actively carrying out joint innovation with solution partners from all industries like electricity, traffic and fire control and has built many innovative solutions like power distribution IoT, intelligent using energy, intelligent intersections, intelligent finance, intelligent fire control and intelligent navigation lights. At present, there are 73 initial members in the PLC-IoT Ecological Alliance, fully displaying the broad prospect and vigorous life of PLC-IoT technology application in industries.

HUAWEI PLC-IoT Ecological Alliance aims at the purpose of open, innovation and win-win result, cooperating with upstream and downstream ecological partners of all industries, building industry consensus, enhancing collaborative interaction and promoting the sustainable and healthy development of the industry. The alliance launched a PLC-IoT Industry Development White Book, which systematacially expounds the PLC-IoT technology framework and advantage, typical application scenarios and ecological cooperation development mode. It contributes the overall framework of industrial development for the industry.
On the 2019 PLC-IoT Industry Development Forum held on the same day, China UnionPay Co.,Ltd, Shandong Electrician Group New Energy Technology Co.,Ltd, Weisheng Group Co.,Ltd, Nanjing Paneng Electric Power Technology Co. Ltd, Chongqing Ulit Science&Technology Co.,Ltd and Shanghai Sansi Electronic Engineering Co.,Ltd shared their typical applications and innovative practice of PLC-IoT in their own industries. Southeast University System Automation Institute also shown their plan of establishing alliance innovation laboratory with HUAWEI. On the same day, HUAWEI and China UnionPay Co.,Ltd held a signing ceremony of joint innovation project cooperation between edge computing and PLC payment scenarios, which marks that PLC-IoT technology is opening up a whole new exploration in financial field.
